Recommendations to Guests regarding the state of the estate at the time of departure:

The estate is handed over to Guests in perfect condition, which is why those who will be staying in the same are kindly asked to check, before leaving, that they have closed all doors and windows, have removed the garbage produced during their stay, have washed and put away the furnishings and appliances used and, in general, take care of the things and objects contained in the farmhouse and the grounds.

Receptive capacity

The estate can accommodate ten people, and it is therefore forbidden to have more people stay than the number just mentioned, except for temporary visits that can never allow the temporary Guest to stay overnight.

Use of the furnishings, appliances and whatever is placed at the disposal of the Guests of the estate.

The valued Guests have a fully equipped kitchen with refrigerators, electric oven, microwave oven, dishwasher, pots, pans, plates, cutlery and whatever else is necessary for the preparation and consumption of breakfast, lunch and dinner and their cleaning. Also included is an electric coffee maker with the necessary pods and a washing machine, which is located in a storage room on the ground floor. Guests can, then, use an Italian-style billiard table, complete with every accessory, board games, satellite TV with Netflix, and more to cheer and make their stay even more enjoyable. Special care is recommended in the use of said assets, especially billiards. Part of the common areas are covered by free Wi Fi service, the code for which will be provided upon arrival.

Ways of using household appliances and electrical equipment

Guests will find on the kitchen table an explanatory brochure for the proper use of household appliances (oven, dishwasher, washing machine, and so on), which they are kindly asked to adhere to. The current at La Veduta Estate is 220 volts alternating; check that your appliances are suitable for this type of current. Electrical outlets are of the Italian type. Be sure to have adapters if your appliances were equipped with plugs with a different system. The property assumes no responsibility for any damage to equipment due to force majeure (sudden power outages, power surges, etc.).

Prohibition of smoking and the use of grills or other open-flame appliances

Smoking is absolutely prohibited inside the farmhouse. Outside, Guests should take every care to avoid damage and fires, the occurrence of which, especially during the summer, is easy in the presence of lit butts. For the same reason, the use of grills as well as any other equipment with an open flame is prohibited.

Mode of use of bathrooms

It is absolutely forbidden to flush anything that is not toilet paper down the toilets As the risk of clogging of pipes is high. It is forbidden to throw any kind of object, including hair, into the sinks.

Energy conservation and respect for nature.

On the “La Veduta” estate, Guests come into contact with unspoiled nature, respect for which we believe is a duty and believe everyone can understand and feel the need to preserve the environment around us. That is why we ask kind Guests to take special care in avoiding lighting fires outside the farmhouse, throwing objects, garbage et similia into the park or pool, not to attack or chase wild animals they will encounter, and not to damage the paths and trails placed at their disposal to allow wonderful walks within the 60 acres that make up the property. For the same reason, we ask to avoid excessive consumption of water and electricity, as well as heating oil. For the same reasons, smoking is prohibited.

Possibility, at the request of Guests, to arrange lunches and dinners, as well as excursions.

At the request of Guests, lunches and dinners based on local foods and products can be arranged, with or without dedicated staff. It is also possible to make excursions and trips to places and countries not far from the Estate, such as visits to the Terme di Saturnia, one of the most popular sites in Tuscany to enjoy the thermal baths, walks on Mount Amiata, more or less difficult, up to the ropes course to reach the summit that gives unparalleled emotions and a panorama, visits to the Parco dell’Uccellina, a beautiful nature reserve that also allows access to the sea, and many others, which will be proposed to you, should you wish.

Pool

A beautiful swimming pool, with sun loungers and umbrellas, is available to Guests in the summer season but also, weather permitting, in the spring and fall seasons. It is essential, however, that certain warnings be scrupulously observed. The height of the pool, at the lowest part, is about 1.20 meters, and as you go to the opposite side, the height increases, up to a maximum of 2.20 meters. It is, therefore, absolutely forbidden to allow children under the age of 12 to enter the pool, as there is danger unless there is the constant presence of adults who can supervise. Therefore, the property disclaims any responsibility for violation of this recommendation. Of course, it also applies if there are people with disabilities or other individuals with health conditions that advise against the use of the pool. The use of any kind of personal hygiene products (peels, creams, oils, masks, etc.) is not allowed, nor is the use of soaps (shampoos, bubble baths) in the pool.

It is strictly forbidden for Guests to allow their pets into the pool.

Damage to furniture, appliances and in general to anything that is left in use by Guests.

After the departure of the Guests, it will be checked whether all the received equipment is present and that there is no damage. In the event of damage to furniture, appliances and in general to anything that is left in use by the Guests, including the farmhouse, the pool and the surrounding park, as well as where it is found that items are missing that were instead present at the time of delivery of the Estate, the Guests will be held accountable to the property to the extent of the actual value of the damaged or no longer present property, through acquisition of the deposit left as security at the time of booking and, where it was insufficient, through charge to the credit card indicated by the Guests. Any damage should in any case be immediately reported to the property.

Pets

Small and medium-sized pets are allowed upon request and confirmation at the time of booking. Any use of bed and bath linens for the animal is prohibited, as well as it is absolutely forbidden to let the animal climb on beds, armchairs, chairs, tables etc. Guests accept full responsibility for damages that may result from their pets. Should any traces (hair, droppings or other) be found on the beds or linens or other items, the Guest will be charged the value of the contaminated item. It is absolutely forbidden for animals to enter the swimming pool and it is, therefore, the duty of the kind Guests to watch carefully so that this does not happen. Otherwise, since the water would be contaminated, the cost of removing the water and filling it with clean water will be charged, the cost of which is over 3,000.00 Euros. Since several days are needed to put in place such activities and other Guests therefore have to give up the pool, they will be charged consequential damages in the amount of Euro 500.00 for each day needed to fully restore said pool.
